Orcas, Kids & You

We are happy to announce 1 Green Planet has partnered with Orca Relief Citizens’ Alliance (ORCA). From helping to save the orca whales to authentically green recycling–it will take us all to partner up in preserving life on this precious planet. You can help too by donating your end-of-life electronics and metals to be recycled.

A safe earth, air and water makes all life on earth possible. Orca Relief Citizens’ Alliance is dedicated to the one hundred percent return of the Southern Resident orca whales–a unique species facing imminent extinction. As the Southern residents lose their population, safe waters in their core critical habitat are essential to their survival.

Adventure Soccer

1 Green Planet is glad to work with Adventure Soccer. This organization aims to provide local extra-curricular activities and free sports camps for children in Washington. Their goal is to connect kids from as young as 4 and as old as 17 to positive community activities such as sports teams, academic support classes, church programs and family activities.

In addition to helping children in Washington, Adventure Soccer also offers similar programs to youth in Eswatini, Africa. A large population of orphans exist in Eswatini, due to the AIDS crisis, who live alone with no adults to care for them. The organization connects with these vulnerable children through soccer and sports, and meets their physical, mental and spiritual needs through a variety of outreach programs and activities. They offer food, clean water, and education support and are investing in post education opportunities with rural micro businesses.

We’re committed to helping keep our community beautiful and waste-free. That’s why on Saturdays we partner with local schools, churches, and nonprofits to bring easy and free recycling to central and easy-to-access locations in communities.

We also service both companies and residences. Anyone can drop off material at our location.
